With more than 30 years of experience,  Peter Di Bartolomeo fuses his technical skills with a keen creative eye; capturing spectacular views and new perspectives of projects ranging from real estate, construction and development, industrial and mining, luxury recreation and resorts, to product manufacturing and installations, corporate storytelling and portraits as well as scenic vistas and natural attractions.

After a 15 year career as a licensed pilot, flight instructor, charter and commercial airline pilot, Peter merged his love of photography with his passion for flying; launching Airborne Photography in 1990.

For the past 10 years, Peter has been capturing an increasing amount of aerial footage through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)/drones which has made aerial photography and videography more accessible to companies of all sizes. As one of the first commercial drone pilots in Canada, Peter has flown countless missions and amassed hundreds of hours of UAV flight time. This migration to a new technology hasn’t eliminated traditional fixed wing or helicopter based jobs and knowing which method best suits a requirement is key to ensuring customers receive the results they desire.

Aerial video begins with shooting but it finishes with the proper video post-production; Airborne Photography can edit footage to meet your needs whether it be to deliver raw footage for archiving or to create videos.
